Declarations of

Kingdom and Mission

The kingdom of God is at hand. You are an ambassador of that kingdom — sent into the world with the message of reconciliation, the power of the Spirit, and the authority of the King.

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Acts 1:8

Declaring the Advance of God's Kingdom

The church is not a refuge from the world — it is a force sent into the world. Jesus did not commission His disciples to build comfortable communities; He commissioned them to make disciples of all nations, to preach the gospel to every creature, to be witnesses to the ends of the earth. Declarations of kingdom and mission are for those who need to be reminded of the magnitude and the urgency of the task. They are for those who feel small, those who are afraid to speak, those who wonder whether their witness matters. They are the spoken alignment of the believer's will with the mission of God — the declaration that the kingdom is advancing, that the harvest is plentiful, and that the gates of hell will not prevail.

Declarations

I Am an Ambassador of the Kingdom of God

I declare that I am an ambassador of Christ — as though God were making His appeal through me. I implore others on Christ's behalf: be reconciled to God. I carry the ministry of reconciliation. I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes. I go into my world — my home, my workplace, my neighborhood — as a representative of the King.

2 Corinthians 5:20Evangelical / Protestant

The Kingdom of God Is Advancing

I declare that the kingdom of God is advancing — in my city, in my nation, and to the ends of the earth. The gates of hell will not prevail against the church. The gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world. I align my prayers, my resources, and my life with the advance of the kingdom. I am not a spectator of history — I am a participant in the greatest story ever told.

Matthew 16:18Reformed / Evangelical

The Harvest Is Plentiful and I Am a Laborer

I declare that the harvest is plentiful. There are people all around me who are ready to hear the gospel, ready to respond to the love of God, ready to come home. I am a laborer in that harvest — sent by the Lord of the harvest into His fields. I ask for boldness to speak, wisdom to know how, and love that compels me. I will not be silent when the harvest is ready.

Matthew 9:37–38Evangelical / Charismatic

Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done

I declare with the prayer Jesus taught us: Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. I align my will with the will of God. I pray for the advance of His kingdom in every sphere of society — in government, in education, in the arts, in business, in the family. I am not passive about the state of the world — I am an intercessor and an agent of the kingdom, working and praying for the day when every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Matthew 6:10Reformed / Evangelical
