For Truth, Courage, and a Way Forward
Full Text
God of truth and mercy, I am facing a decision that feels enormous, and I may feel frightened, pressured, ashamed, or alone. You know my circumstances completely. You know the voices around me, the risks I fear, and the future I cannot yet see. Slow this moment down. Protect me from coercion, secrecy, manipulation, and panic. Bring trustworthy people who will listen with compassion, tell me the truth, and help me find practical alternatives and support. Give me courage to ask every question and to refuse any pressure that violates my conscience. Help me recognize the dignity of the life developing within me and the dignity You have given me. Show me a way forward that honors life and does not abandon me to carry the consequences alone. Move the child's father, family, church, and community toward responsibility, generosity, and practical care. Jesus, meet me without contempt. Lead me in truth, protect me from fear-driven decisions, and give me enough light for the next faithful step. Amen.
