For Mother and Child

Creator and Sustainer of life, Thank You for the life developing within this mother. You see what no human eye can fully see, and You know every detail of both mother and child. Please protect them through each stage of pregnancy. Grant healthy development to the child and strength to the mother's body. Guard them from infection, injury, complications, and hidden danger. Give wisdom and attentiveness to every doctor, nurse, midwife, technician, and caregiver. When anxiety rises, replace panic with Your peace. Help this mother care for her body without becoming imprisoned by fear. Give the father and family patience, tenderness, and practical wisdom. Prepare their home and their hearts to receive this child with love. We entrust mother and child to You, asking for protection while resting in Your constant presence. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
