When I Feel Unprepared and Afraid
Full Text
God of mercy, This pregnancy was not part of my plan, and I do not know what to do. I feel frightened, overwhelmed, and unprepared. You already know the pressures, relationships, finances, and circumstances surrounding me. Please meet me here without condemnation and lead me in truth. Quiet the panic that makes everything seem impossible. Give me time, safety, and wise people who will listen before they speak. Protect me from coercion, manipulation, and decisions driven only by fear. Show me the practical help that is available and give me courage to receive it. Watch over this child and over me. Awaken compassion and responsibility in the child's father and in those closest to us. Where relationships are broken, bring honesty and peace. Where resources are lacking, provide through Your people. Jesus, You drew near to people in their most vulnerable moments. Draw near to me now. Give me wisdom for today and enough light for the next faithful step. Amen.
