Faithful Father, I want to know what will happen. I want guarantees about the decisions before me, the people I love, and the circumstances I cannot control. The unknown feels like an empty space my fears are eager to fill. Forgive me for trying to live tomorrow before it arrives. Teach me to distinguish wise preparation from anxious prediction. Give me the discipline to do what love and responsibility require today, then release the outcome to You. You have already entered every tomorrow I will face. No change, disappointment, opportunity, or loss can take me beyond Your reach. Lead me by Your Word, Your Spirit, wise counsel, and the peace that accompanies obedience. Close the doors I should not enter. Give me courage to walk through the doors You open. When the way remains unclear, form patience and faithfulness in me while I wait. I do not ask to control the future. I ask to know and follow You within it. In Jesus’ name, amen.
