Father, The financial pressure is real. There are bills to pay, obligations to meet, and people who depend upon me. I feel the weight of what is lacking, and fear keeps telling me that ruin is inevitable. Give me courage to look honestly at the numbers. Keep me from avoidance, impulsive decisions, secret spending, and promises I cannot keep. Show me what must change, what can be negotiated, what can wait, and where I should ask for help. Provide meaningful work, wise counsel, and unexpected pathways where there appears to be no way forward. Teach me to distinguish needs from wants and faith from presumption. Protect my relationships from the anger and shame that financial fear can produce. Help us speak truthfully, plan together, and refuse to measure our worth by what we possess. I ask for daily bread—not luxury promised by a formula, but the provision, wisdom, endurance, and community needed for this season. You are my Father in abundance and in scarcity. Teach me faithful stewardship today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
