Root Me in Who You Say I Am
PrayerFather, I confess that I too often define myself by what I have done, what others think of me, or what I feel about myself in a given moment. Root me instead in what You say. You call me Your child, Your beloved, Your workmanship. Let those words become more real to me than any voice of shame or comparison. Let my identity be so anchored in You that the storms of opinion cannot move it.
