A Diagnosis Does Not Determine This Child's Worth

InterdenominationalPregnancy, Birth & Unborn Life

Full Text

This medical news is important, but it is not the whole truth about this child. This child is a person of immeasurable dignity, known and loved by God. I am allowed to grieve, ask questions, seek second opinions, and hope. I do not need to solve the entire future today. God will meet us with wisdom and grace in each next step.

Scripture References

Psalm 139:13–16

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb."

Romans 8:38–39

"Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God."
