Death Will Not Erase Love

InterdenominationalPregnancy, Birth & Unborn Life

Full Text

We declare that this child's life, however brief, will not be treated as insignificant. We will speak the child's name when we are able, honor the love we carry, and give grief the time it requires. We reject shame, blame, and the demand to recover on someone else's schedule. We hold to the hope that God is near, Christ has entered human sorrow, and death will not have the final word.

Scripture References

Psalm 34:18

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Romans 8:38–39

"Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God."
