I Was Created for Such a Time as This

EvangelicalPurpose and Calling

Full Text

I declare that I am not here by accident. I was born in this generation, in this place, with these gifts, for a reason. God did not make a mistake when He made me. He did not place me in this moment of history by chance. Like Esther, I have come to the kingdom for such a time as this. The challenges of my generation are not obstacles to my calling — they are the context for it. I declare that I have something to offer that the world needs. I declare that the gifts God has placed in me are not for my own comfort but for the service of others and the glory of God. I will not shrink back. I will not compare myself to others and conclude that I have nothing to give. I declare that I will step into the purpose for which I was made — imperfectly, faithfully, courageously. I was created for this. I am ready.
