My Body Is Held by a Healing God

InterdenominationalHealing and Wholeness

Full Text

My body is not beyond the reach of God. Whatever diagnosis I carry, whatever pain I feel, whatever the doctors have said — I am held by a God who heals. He is the same God who opened blind eyes, cleansed lepers, and raised the dead. He has not changed. His power has not diminished. His compassion has not grown cold. I choose today to bring my body to Him — not with demands, but with trust. I affirm that He is at work in me, whether I feel it or not. I affirm that healing is part of His nature and His will. I affirm that even in the waiting, even in the suffering, He is present and He is good. I will not let fear have the final word about my body. I will not let a diagnosis define my future. I hold my body before God with open hands, trusting Him with the outcome, and receiving His grace for today. My body is held by a healing God, and that is enough.
