My Vocation Is Larger Than This Outcome

InterdenominationalAnxiety and Fear

Full Text

My calling is not reduced to the outcome of one deal, one quarter, one decision, or one organization. I can work diligently while remembering that I am a steward, not the sovereign. I can learn from mistakes without allowing them to define me. My task is to pursue truth, serve people, exercise wisdom, and act with integrity. Results matter, but they do not replace faithfulness.

Scripture References

Colossians 3:23–24

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving."

Ephesians 2:10

"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
