God of wisdom, The responsibilities before me feel heavy. Decisions affect employees, partners, customers, investors, and my own family. I am afraid of making the wrong choice, missing a danger, losing an opportunity, or failing those who trust me. Free me from the pride that assumes everything depends upon me and from the passivity that refuses the responsibility You have given me. Help me gather the right facts, listen to people who will tell me the truth, and distinguish urgency from mere pressure. Expose self-interest, fear, and vanity wherever they are shaping my judgment. Give me courage to make difficult decisions without becoming hardhearted. Help me communicate clearly, honor commitments, correct mistakes quickly, and treat every person as bearing Your image. If this work must change, give me wisdom to change it. If I must persevere, give me endurance. If an opportunity is not from You, make me willing to release it. I commit my work to You. Let success deepen stewardship rather than pride, and let setbacks produce wisdom rather than despair. In Jesus’ name, amen.
