Peace Before the Circumstances Change

Prince of Peace, I have prayed for this situation to end, but it continues. The problem is not imaginary, and the burden does not disappear when I use spiritual words. I need Your peace within circumstances that may not change today. Keep peace from becoming another demand I cannot meet. I cannot manufacture calm by pretending everything is well. Give me the peace of knowing I am accompanied, heard, and held even here. Show me the next faithful action. Give me strength for necessary conversations, appointments, decisions, and boundaries. Help me receive food, sleep, friendship, worship, and moments of beauty without feeling guilty that the crisis remains. Protect me from becoming defined by emergency. Remind me that I am still Your child, still capable of love, and still part of a story larger than this season. Where deliverance is possible, open the way. Where endurance is required, renew me. Where loss must be grieved, remain close. Let the peace of Christ stand guard over my heart and mind before the circumstances change. In Jesus’ name, amen.
