Lord Jesus, my mind is racing and my heart is heavy with anxiety. The worries pile up faster than I can address them, and I feel overwhelmed by what I cannot control. You told Your disciples not to be anxious about their lives — not because the concerns are not real, but because You are more real still. I bring every worry to You now. I name them before You: the fears about the future, the uncertainties I cannot resolve, the outcomes I cannot guarantee. I release them into Your hands. You are the God who holds the sparrows and numbers the hairs on my head. Nothing about my situation has escaped Your notice. Give me the peace that passes understanding — the peace that does not depend on circumstances being resolved, but on knowing that You are with me in them. Let Your presence be the anchor my anxious heart needs.
Scripture References
Philippians 4:6–7
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Matthew 6:25–26
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"
