I Am Not Alone in This Diagnosis

I have received a diagnosis that has changed my world, but it has not changed who holds me. God was present before this word came, and God is present now. I am not navigating this alone. I am not facing an unknown future without a guide. The God who formed me knows every cell of this body. He is not surprised by what the doctors found. He has not stepped back from me in this moment of vulnerability. I choose to receive this truth: I am known, I am held, and I am not alone. Whatever this diagnosis brings — treatment, uncertainty, fear, or grief — I will not face it without the One who promised never to leave me or forsake me.
