Prayers for
Some decisions feel impossible. Some paths are unclear. These prayers are for the moments when you need wisdom beyond your own — when you want to choose well and need God to show you the way.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

God is not silent. He speaks through Scripture, through the Spirit, through wise counsel, through circumstances, and through the deep convictions of a surrendered heart. These prayers are for those standing at a crossroads — facing a major life decision, a career change, a relationship question, or simply the daily need to know which way to go. They are prayers of surrender as much as petition, asking not just for an answer but for the wisdom to recognize it.
Lord, I am facing a decision that feels too big for me. I have weighed the options. I have sought counsel. And I still need your wisdom. You promised to give it generously to those who ask. I ask now. Give me clarity. Give me peace about the right path. And help me trust that you are guiding me even when I cannot see the whole road. Amen.
Father, I cannot see the path clearly. I have prayed and waited and I still do not have the clarity I was hoping for. Teach me to be faithful in the waiting. Help me take the next right step, even if I cannot see the step after that. I trust that you are ordering my steps even when I cannot feel it. Lead me. I will follow. Amen.
God, I am about to have a conversation that matters. Give me the right words — words that are honest, kind, and wise. Help me listen as much as I speak. Guard my tongue from saying things I will regret. And let your purposes be accomplished in this meeting, not just mine. Amen.
Lord, I have been holding this decision tightly, trying to figure it out on my own. I release it to you now. Not my will, but yours. I want what you want more than I want what I think I want. Shape my desires. Align my heart with yours. And then lead me — I will trust that the peace you give will confirm the path. Amen.
