I Am Held Through Every Procedure
Full Text
I declare that I am held through every procedure. I declare that God is in the operating room, in the recovery room, in the consultation that follows. I declare that the hands of my medical team are guided by a wisdom that comes from above. I declare that nothing will be missed that needs to be found, and nothing will be harmed that needs to be spared. I commit my body to God's care and to the care of the skilled people He has placed around me. I declare that I will wake from this procedure in the hands of the same God who held me going in. I am not alone. I am not unprotected. I am held — before, during, and after — by the One who never sleeps and never lets go.
