I Declare That God Is at Work in My Treatment
Full Text
I declare that God is at work in my treatment. I declare that the medicine entering my body is doing what it was designed to do — targeting what needs to be targeted, sparing what needs to be spared. I declare that my body is responding to treatment in accordance with God's purposes for my healing. I declare that the researchers who developed this treatment, the physicians who prescribed it, and the nurses who administer it are all instruments of God's provision. I declare that I will not lose hope in the middle of this process. I will not let the difficulty of treatment convince me that it is not working. I will cooperate with my medical team, I will pray throughout the process, and I will trust that God is at work — seen and unseen — in every aspect of my care.
