I Declare That I Will Live and Not Die
Full Text
I declare that I will live and not die, and I will proclaim what the Lord has done. I am in remission, and I declare that this is not luck — it is grace. I declare that the God who brought me through treatment is the same God who will walk with me through the years ahead. I declare that I will not live in the shadow of fear, waiting for the cancer to return. I will live in the light of what God has done. I declare that my life, from this day forward, will be marked by gratitude — for the ordinary days, for the people I love, for the body that has endured so much and is still here. I will live. I will tell the story. I will not be silent about what God has done.
